I have recently overhauled a centrifugal compressor and replaced the 1 stage rotor . ( 6 stage compressor, centrifugal, integral geared compressor) .
Post starting 1 stage vibration is rising and again it is subsiding after compressor is loaded.
What may be the issue and how to resolve this?

Hi,

Who did the overhaul? You should have contracted the vendor because he is also responsible for the tests.

Hope all sensors and system were calibrated prior to start up.
