I work in an aluminum extrusion plant. We heat up logs, cut them, push them through a die and ship the finished product. The die is then put through a sodium hydroxide and water bath to remove the remaining aluminum, and the die is further tended to before going back into use. Meanwhile, I end up with that waste sodium hydroxide water (PH 13.7), I mix it with sulfuric acid (>93%) to balance the PH and then a pump truck takes it away. This is a basic framework of what I'm dealing with. As for how, we have a pit, that's important, 7ft by 20ft square about 7ft of water before it starts coming up from the floor and drains leading to this pit. We are currently using a submersible pump to recirculate the water through 2in schedule 80 PVC, and this is the source of my problems. I'm becoming more and more limited for WHEN I can treat water, but then have very limited time for treating water, which means I have to treat large quantities quickly. Faster treatment more heat, more heat more problems with the submersible pump and supporting piping. I've discussed redesigning the system to use a non-submersible pump to draw the water up and recirculate it, and everyone is okay with that, but I'm left holding the bag on that redesign. I need help selecting the right kind of pump to pull water up from a pit rather than having the gravity pressure of a supported, or even ground level tank, but it needs to be able to handle the corrosive chemicals and water temperatures of 150F. I need help selecting the right pump for the task and I'm running into the issue of not knowing what I don't know. I'm not really worried about brands, I can do the research on that once I know what kind of pump to look for, but centrifugal pumps seem to need positive pressure at the inlet, well pumps don't seem to be up to the flow rate I would need, on top of probably not being very happy with the chemicals, and I really want to stop dealing with the submersible pump issues.

There are summergible pumps that must fulfill your requierements. In USA there are pumps companies to supply relailable pumps.

In my experience, switching to a vertical multistage pump has worked well for handling issues like yours. These pumps are non-submersible, handle higher pressures, and are better suited for corrosive chemicals and heat.
When selecting the pump, I’d recommend looking for materials resistant to sodium hydroxide and sulfuric acid, and ensuring it has double mechanical seals for added durability.
When I was redesigning a similar system, I found Industrial Pump Group helpful for getting the right pump advice, especially when dealing with aggressive fluids and high temperatures.
