I'm currently a junior in high school and have gotten pretty interested in chemical engineering. Is there any tips or advice I should have for education or future jobs? Is there anything in specific I shouldn't do?

Some advice for a junior in high school:
Stay on the right side of the law.
The internet never forgets, so don't say stupid stuff on social media.
Don't make a baby until you are older and married.
Keep your grades up.
Consider the impression of your extra-curricular activities on college entrance applications.
Learn to study effectively.
Improve your written and oral communication skills.

Get good grades, the only way to get access to good universities and later good job!
Engineering is about hard work.
Pilesar is right about oral and written skills, the only way to promote yourself and your work.
Yes, Chem Eng is fun and covers a lot of domains.
Good luck,
