The only standard procedure for determinng equipment efficiency is applying the equation, efficiency = Energy Output/Energy Input and from derived efficiency curves based on percent loading of the equipment. You will need to check with the equipment manufacturing literature to get the efficiency of the units for which you are interested. For example, a boilers efficiency will improve if it is equipped with an economizer and a blowdown heat recovery system. It all depends on the set up and the percent loads of the unit. If you want to get more specific you will need to consult the equipment literature.
