I've seen Students who didn't have the "foggiest" idea of how to solve their immediate problem, but this one takes the cake.

HELLOOOOOOOOoooooooo! Anyone out there.............................?

For such a general question, here is a very general answer:

In - Out + Generation = Accumulation

Is this a cry for help? To answer your question -

Whatever enters a system (mass,energy, etc..) must leave the system.

Input = Output

To make the problem easier, put a boundary around an individual unit operation, i.e. a reactor. Think about what is happening in the unit, what reactions are taking place. Then you can set a basis for the calculation (mole, mass, etc..) and work out Input/Output, entering/leaving the unit.

Tip - study the units used very carefully!!! (very usefull in exams)
