Ajay:

You are a recent student member and we don't have much of your background or profile, except your handle. I don't know much about you and you don't know much about me. If you did, you would be aware that I have ranted in this Forum many times over the un-ethical stance of some students in allowing or fomenting the pirating of licensed software.

I've deleted your referenced email address, and, once again, the ranting begins.

Under no consideration or manner will I allow any attempts to foster or foment the stealing of licensed software through this Forum. To do so would be to taint and dishonor all the work, the effort, and the sacrifice that many students and professional engineers have done to help those who have come here in honest and humble manner seeking knowledge that will make them better individuals and better engineers than when they arrived. If I am being unreasonable and unjust as moderator, then I should be kicked off this Forum and banned for life. But if I am reflecting the moral values taught to you and expected of you by your family, your society, and your country, then please be kind enough to admit it.

If is my firm belief and experience that to allow a violation of what I consider an ethical stance, is to allow all Ch E students coming here to become associated with illegalities and unethical practices. That is NOT what professional engineering is about and that is an accepted (and demanded) ethical stance in all the countries of the world where I have practiced engineering. And I firmly believe that is the way it should be. The public and society that we serve deserves our ethical stance. How else can it rely on our decisions and judgments? If we are to instill confidence and trust in our designs and decisions, we MUST EARN IT. We must follow strict ethical rules.

Having repeated myself for the "umpthteenth time", I will now request that you explain why you feel you deserve free, licensed software to do your homework. If you fail to answer my question or to address the subject of requesting illegal software, I will be forced to request a higher authority for strict enforcement of future requests for exchanging pirated software. Please don't make me go there.

I will await your response to this request to see if there is any justification for what seems to be your asking for free licensed engineering software.
