I have been assigned to design a brine tank (24%) solution with a mixer etc. The process is used to make a solution for the regeneration process for one of the Ion exchange beds. Previously the tank (1500 gallon) plastic had a side mount mixer which has not worked. This design was put in place many years ago and talking with operations staff, it never really worked. The tank does not have baffles ( sorry I do not t have tank dimensions at the moment).

I am planning to install a new 2000 gallon tank (plastic) and talking to the vendors they have recommended a A6000 (impeller by lightnin). Basically I am considering a closed tank with just a single vent.

Any one has any idea or experience regarding this impeller. This sounds like a simple process, but it is very important as it is a part of a continous operation and I want to be extremely judicious about not missing any details. Hence looking for some feedback. Appreciate the response.

Regards
