We have a slurry phase supply line which has a control valve. We are flushing it with pure water at control valve upstream and downstream to avoid any sort of blockage/chocking of particles in the control valve.
We know the line size and the process side slurry flowrate. We need to caculate the amount of water required for flushing.
Hence we require some sort of basis for calculation of flushing medium flowrate.
