Hi all

This is first time i deal with LNG modeling in HYSIS, hope any feedback / technical advise from Jedi in this forum.

I had done the model but encoutered many errors...
Hope experience Jedi can share their valuable comment here...

The LNG process is using J-T effect (constant enthalpy) to yield LNG gas vol expansion and throttle down the temp to -55C. The 2nd stage cooling will further cooling the LNG to -136C hence liquified the C1,C2...etc

The 2nd stage cooling is done through Gas to Gas exchanger, meaning that the LNG feed to an "Cold box" and undergoes Ref Compressor System to achieve final pressure of 80 to 90 Barg.

The High pressure LNG is undergoes- free expansion of the compressed LNG
through an expansion engine that not only increases the cooling effect, but also generates useful work (at constant entropy). The extreme cold LNG is countered pass through the Cold box and liquified the LNG to -136C. Hence liquefaction is done using J-T and turbo expansion.

Please find enclosed attachment which is self-explanatory
Regards

Dear Tan Chee,
I can no see that mentioned attachment !
You did not explain about the errors resultant from HYSYS simulation ! What are those?
Good Luck

Hi all

Due to unforseen circumstance and unlikely to disclose P& C eng info in this forum, hence I decide not to further discuss any technical detail here. I will close this post officially.

Regret, declined
