I want to design a Chlorine scruber for water treatment station where the air flow is 30000 m3\hr
and the storage contain gaz cotainer 600kg conected to the water pool .Does any one can help in the scruber dimension and drawing?

The procedure for sizing is as follows:
1) select the proper packing, assuming you want a packed tower. For 30000 M3/h you will probably use 2" nominal size. pre-select a wetting rate around 100 m3/m2/hr
2) check the packing factor and estimate the diameter (basis=70-80% of flooding); verify that the diameter is at least 20 times the nominal size of the packing
3) select your system (caustic soda or soda + sulfites)
4) from the packing suppliers correlations evaluate the overall mass transfer coefficient. Perry's handbook contains also some data for Cl2 scrubbing. calculate the bed height.
adjust if neede the wetting rate
5) calculate the pressure drop
Chlorine scrubbing requires very high pH and the reaction is slow. Sulfite is better because it allows a much faster reaction at a lower pH. Think that, at very high pH you are at risk of CaCO3 scaling
