Hi.

I need kalium.carbonate as a component in HYSYS, but i cant find it. I probably need to add it as a hypothetical component, but I cant figure it out. I need it for simulation of a CO2 capture plant. Can anyone help me? Thanks

Dear Zebu,
If I am not wrong you are working with a MEG plant and you are going to remove the CO2 (which is the ethylene oxidation product).A long back I was stucked with the same problem when I was doing these simulation. You have to define pottacium carbonate and bi-carbonate as hypothetical components.

Dear,
I will suggest you how to tackle this problem.Get the photocopy of the A3 Size paper to A4 (by reducing the photocopy size-a feature of your photocopy machine) which is quite easy and then get it scanned and send it to me if you wish to send it and if you find the way I told is easier otherwise leave it.Anyways thanks for your concern.
