Dear All,

I am working on Heater Optimisation loop ,Effective fired heater performance has always been very important facor in the refinery.

If not mistaken we all do known that increasing the fuel oil temperatures , does improve the heater performance .

I would like to know what about the increasing Fuel Gas temperatues ,considering the typical fuel gas composition from a typical vent is at @11 deg C ,222 kg/hr, goes to mixing drum ,mixing with various other gas streams ,which then would go to fired heater firing box.

Would increasing the temp of this stream would be helpful, which would then overall increase the net fuel gas temperature going to fired heater firing box.

Considering this stream fllow being very small , i guess would not have much effect...

Thanking in Advance

With Warm Regards,
Amit
