Dear Friends ,

One of my colleagues ( chemical engineer) has received an offer letter from a semiconductor manufacturing company ,to join , as a Facility Engineer.

Any idea what is the role played by Chemical Engineers in Semiconductor industry ?

Kindly pour ur ideas, so that he can decide.

The semiconductor industry deals with some of the most nasty chemical in existance. A prime role for a Chem E would be in waste and pollution control and chemical handling facilities.
