plz help me out.....i m new to designing.........
design basis data.........
NOx generated per batch of dissolution(16hr)=600 moles
assumed carrier gas handling capacity=8000cumt/hr
operating prsr=250 mm WC of vaccum gauge
scrubbing fluid-NaOH solution
Discharge limit=1ppm
average concentration of NOx in inlet gas=0.0046875mol/cumt
peak load=150 mol/hr
scrubbing efficiency required=99.76
gas density=1.17 kg/cm
gas temp=45c
design temp=60c
recirculating scrubbing

You use inconsistent units such as ppm & mol/cumt which make it a bit difficult to follow your problem. I think you are attempting something that is very difficult, namely the use of a caustic solution to control NOx emissions. NOx is notoriously difficult to remove because it is a mixture of several oxides. Though some of the minor components act like typical acid gases and can be effectively removed with an alkaline solution, thee major component is not so well behaved and is very difficult to remove in this manner.
