Dear All,
Is there any typical allowable pressure drop value for flame arrestors something like 0.5-0.7 bar for control valves?

I'm going to be blunt about this one: NO and if anyone tries to give you something, ignore it. You need to have an idea of what is needed and go to the manufacturer's literature.

Dear,
As such findings I haven't seen that certain pressure drop across the Flame Arrestors.Normally I have seen the flame arresters in the emergency vent lines in the plant and which are either routed to flare or to the atmosphere at safe location based on the dispersion analysis. But you can check with the manufacturers data sheets or their product information catlogs.I am giving some links where you will find some useful information.I hope it will help you.
