Dear all

In above ground equipment like Codensate Storage Tank: Do we need to protect it by catohodic protection system? Is it a customery method for protection of the storage tanks?
Any comment/practice?

Regards

hi!

cathodic protection is one of the methods of minimising corrosion.

if the moc is ms (tank/pipe/structure) & irrespective of whether it's onground/belowgroud/aboveground, then definitely the life/quality of the equipment will be enhanced.

i suggest u do it.

hi!

i suggest u to get opinion from an experienced corrosion control person. (not consultant)
u don't worry about customs/conventions.

consultants look at ur watch & tell u the time.
