There are several different methods a person could use.
Using a seed press to extract the oil is a decent idea. A Digester Screw Press is the most efficient compared to a Hydraulic Press (source http://www.sciencedi...17c977d5f2#toc7 | Results and Discussion #3 ) and the most cost efficient.
Another method you could use is a hexane extraction. I'm not sure here so I'm going to try my best from my basic understanding. Grind the seeds and flow hexane through an extraction column to obtain your oil. From there, distill off the product(s) you need.

YES THE BEST EXTRACTION TECHNIQUE(INDUSTRUIALLY PREFERED) IS SOXHLET EXTRACTION. BUT YOU CAN YRY ANOTHER TECHNIQUE SUCH AS scfe, MICROWAVE EXTRACTION, ULTRASONIC EXTRACTION ETC AS YOU ARE RESEARCH STUDENT.
