Hi
Generally you can use GPSA for scrubber design Volume 7 may assist you. Wire mesh, filter or cyclone can be used to reduce liquid carry over to protect down stream equipments such as compressors. Generally engineering consultants have validated spread sheets for such sizing and calculation.
