SeanK,

Since your question is so general I am suggesting a couple of weblinks which may be useful in understanding steam recovery from condensate. These may be applicable to any installation (oil and gas/petrochemical) where large quantities of steam are available for various energy intensive processes. Here I use the term energy intensive since steam energy could be utilized as heat energy (process heating) or conversion to mechanical energy (turbines to drive machinery).

Hope this helps.

Sean,

Is your steam recovery system part of a larger cooling system? If so, this webinar next week may help, I signed up yesterday...

"Simulating Cooling Systems for Efficient Design"
This educational session will discuss the use of system-level simulation on liquid cooling systems to address key design considerations and common challenges in power generation, plant and process industries.
