James:
As a serious ChE student you will need access to a lot of K values in the future - not only those for valves. I recommend you start your database as soon as you can and work on developing it through the future years.
I can help you with a "jump" start, but you should have a copy of something like Crane's Tech Paper No. 410 (Section A), where you will find not only a source of Ks but methods of converting them and employing them. I got my Ks from pipe catalogs and various sources; you can do the same. I don't have Ks for diaphragm valves, but you can obtain these by contacting a manufacturer, like Saunders, and they will certainly give them to you. If you identify yourself and give your location and university I can send you an Excel workbook on the subject; but you have to fully identify yourself and your need for this information. I will earnestly help only earnest, dedicated students who are willing to do the work required of them to learn on their own - I cannot help lazy students who do not want to invest hard work into their future profession.
If you have a computer and access to the Internet (as this posting shows), then you should be very busy using a search machine like Google to obtain the basic data and sources that you will need in the future. Get a copy of Tech Paper #410; if you don't know what it is, ask and inquire. Your future depends on information such as this.
Good Luck
