Hi Everybody,
In most of the Refineries for Sour water Stripper Column PSV is Located at the Bottom of the Column below or just opposite to feed Nozzle. In most of the Distillation column PSV is at the top of the column, can anybody tell me the resion for PSV located at the bottom of the Sour water stripper column

Above statement may not be true for all cases but for some cases. If the SWS column is steam injection type, the may be the PSV is located at the bottom or at the steam inlet line...

The location will only be determined together with / after the overpressure scenario and relief flow path are analysed.
