Dear Friends,

I need some information for simulation of a waxy crude coming off from wellhead.
I need to know which property package shall be used?

Many Thanks

saiedeh,

To be able to give any recommendation someone needs to know more than only that you are dealing with "waxy crude". I would expect an API gravity, maybe a little structural description. Than what kind of processes you intend to simulate, pressure/temperature ranges, and maybe what kind of software you intend to use.

Dear andrei

It's a crude coming off from wellhead and processes inclde wellhead facilities like separation of gas, water and salt and also sweatening.
At the moment I don't know anything about temperature and pressure rang.Just I know that
it is tricky cut.

Thanks

Waxy crude has special wax component in it where it begin to crystallized at pour point and sharp incrase in viscosity when it pass the cloud point. It presenting non-newtonian characteristic. You need crude viscosity curve to understanding this special behaviour.

You did not mention what software you use... so you gain no answer.

Based on past experience, if you use common process simulator i.e HYSYS, really doubt you can simulate correctly the waxy cahracteristic.
