Hi

can anybody do a quick judgement whether < -50.5 kJ/mol benzene formed > is a realistic value for the heat of reaction of toluene hydrodealkylation?
(reactor conditions of 1268°F and 494 psi)
(only the main reaction and the diphenyl producing side reaction are considered)

I would also like to do a more rigorous calculation myself with Hess Law but I don't really understand how to convert standard enthalpies of formation to these reactor conditions?

Kind regards
Sander
