Was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on a possible entrainer for an azeotropic mixture of butanol and water..

n-butanol/water azeotrope is heterogeneous; thus, two liquid phases occur in the decanter. so it can be easily separated easily. Please find the article "http://pubs.acs.org/doi/abs/10.1021/ef8004064".
