i am desiging fire water system for Butene-1 sphere.For this purpose, water deluge system is being used.
I have calculated flow rate of water required for whole sphere.
i dont know how to select the no of sub equatorial rings and height to tank centre?
please help.

The water through one sprinkler nozzle should be 9.85 LPM. Hope this gives you some idea.

Mr.mohsin,

You can follow NFPA-13(or OISD-116,117,118) it contains the details regarding
your issue, or otherwise you can see the individual nozzle details(flowrate,K factor, Angle of coverage,.etc.,) from TAC(traffic advisory committee) or Local vendors
based on the individual nozzle factor (including the Pressure requirement at the nozzle tip),number of nozzle will be decided.
