Can anyone please let me know how to calculate power consumption for screw compressor used in ammonia refrigeration.

Hi Sam,

Use the search function found in this Forum; you should be able to find all the info you need, or the Perry Chemical handbook will be a good ressource - or at least Google.

download the spreadsheet attached in below link, there in calculation sheet i have described how to calculate Brake horse power for refrigeration compressor.
