Dear All,

Please find attached a spreadsheet for estimation of saturated liquid density based on the equations by:

a. Gunn-Yamada

b. Rackett

Please note that the equations are for saturated liquids i.e. at or above the saturation temperature. These equations provide a deviation of not more than 1% from experimentally evaluated density values for nonpolar compounds.

Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

Regards,
Ankur.

Sachin,

I know about the calculator. It provides density of the pure liquid at its NBP (Normal Boiling Point) when you select the liquid. Nothing more. My spreadsheet provides density for the liquid at or above its saturation temperature for all the compounds listed in the table. Table can be expanded to accomodate more liquids. So there is no comparison between the on-line calculator and my spreadsheet.

Regards,
Ankur.
