Dear friends I need someone who tells me if there is a way to simulate solids components with Aspen Plus 2006. I'm simulating a batch reactor where some of the fed components are in solid state and i have to sumministrate them in kg. I have carry this simulation to dynamic mode later to include controllers. Can somebody tells me if it's possible in Aspen Plus

The answer is YES.
First step: you have to define your new component (unless your componet has presented already in Aspen's library) by collecting and filling all needed important characteristic properties.
Then continue usual...
