Hello,
We have a duty of removing water which is almost 80%(w/w) in lactic acid (product) solution. The solution flow rates involved are 1000 kg/hr. The product is temperature sensitive and the water evaporation needs to be carried out under high vacuum. What is the best method one can recommend for such service? At higher concentrations the product is prone to foul the heat transfer surfaces.
It is intended to try something different from spray drying or thin film evaporator type equipment.
Thanks in advance for your inputs.
