Dear all

I'm working in a geothermal project, and i have a problem. I need to cool down a brine stream before reinjecting it to well. The problem is, from the brine composition analysis, we have a very high concentration of silica (SiO2), about 984 mg/L. What i want to ask is, up to what temperature should i cool the brine down, so it won't cause an excessive amount of scaling problem. If you have, any literature or paper that related to this prblem, it'll very help me. Thank you very much.

Best regards

Erwan

Mr Pambudi,

Nope, i was working on Lahendong project. But now not anymore. If you're interested, I can suggest someone who could be still handling that project.

Halo I'm student
I want to make an experiment abourt scaling silica
I wanna ask..is it posibble for us to analize the position in pipe where the scaling occur?
and how important if we can analize the position of scaling?
Thank U
