Hi Guys,

can someone tell me how i can calculate the heat transfer for a vessel with an
welded half pipe coil outside? I need the Nusselt number.

Consult your heat transfer text. Use the forced convection heat transfer correlation for the jacket side if it is a liquid heat transfer fluid like hot oil or cooling water. Use the condensing heat transfer correlation (Nusselt equation) or Dukler plot if it is condensing steam.
