How Can I Add Bioreactor To Hysys ?

Hello to all


i'm working on conception of a biorefniery and i'm not familiar with hysys , so my question is it's possible to do such of thing with hysys ?

I think that if you know the kinetic expression, you need just to create the reactor you're working on (cstr, plug folw..) and add the equations. I've never tried a bio reactor, but i think this is the way i would try first.

Dear,
Modeling of the reactions which are catalytic in Hysys is not advisible. If you are dealing with bichemical reactions you will have enzymes(bicatalyst), the information/properties would be a tough thing to model. If you have the experiemntal data of the reaction based on your lab scale experiments you can try to fit with the hysys. (In this case simple MS excel will suffice the purpose).
