When I start my simulation on Pro/II, appears:

"** message ** In thermodynamic method set 1, 'srk01', chlorine component is not supported by the simsci water solubility method. Estimated parameters will be used for this component."

The same messagge appear for 1,2-dichloroethane and vinyl chloride.

What do you suggest to do?

I had similar problem with Aspen Plus when using electrolyte specialty package. I'm pretty sure you'll need to go back to thermodynamic property model you've chosen and sort out interactions between components. This kind of warning only appears when using specialty packages, if my memory serves me right.

Thanks for the answer.
I used the Soave-Redlich-Kwong correlation. Do you think the warning is related to this choice? In this case, except intuit, there is a criterion to apply to choose between correlations?

I've entered same components as you did in Aspen Plus and got a warning as well. But Aspen Plus also tells me to choose other method for free-water calculation. Therefore if I choose STEAMNBS then there is no warning. Go to property method and choose different method for free-water and this should've fixed your problem.

I changed "Calculation method for water solubility in nonaqueous phase" with "Compute from equation of state" (it was selected "SimSci method").
Now it works without warnings.

Thank you very much! ;)
