Good day everyone. I am designing a reactor for my final year project based on the sulphuric acid prodcution using the Contact Process. Can anyone help me in obtaining the rate law for a catalytic converter with the reaction
SO2+O2--->SO3. The inlet gas stream consists of SO2, O2,N2 at a temperature of 670K and exits at a temperature of 680K. The conversion of SO2 to SO3 is 99.71%. The heat of reaction = 100000000 J/kmol. The catalyst used is vanadium pentoxide.
