I'd like to introduce my website, http://calcol.ucoz.com.Calcol stands for Calculate Online. It means visitors of this site can do calculation online. This site provides online spreadsheets in the fields of chemical and environmental engineering; therefore it is dedicated to students who are studying those fields, professionals or consultants who are working in those fields and anyone who is in need of specific calculations in those fields.

Current Available Spreadsheets:
Char Combustor (One Pair with BCL Biomass Gasifier)
This spreadsheet is a continuation of the Biomass Gasifier spreadsheet. This means that the outputs from the Biomass Gasifier spreadsheet can be used as inputs of this Spreadsheet. This spreadsheet is for calculating mass balance of Char Combustor which one pair with Battelle Columbus Laboratory Gasifier.

Biomass Gasification using BCL Gasifier
This spreadsheet can be used to calculate synthesis gas composition from gasification of biomass. Type of gasifier used is indirectly heated low pressure gasifier developed by Battelle Columbus Laboratory.

Steam Turbine Calculation (In Bahasa Indonesia)
This spreadsheet is used to calculate the amount of steam required
to generate a desired work with given input and output conditions of the steam.

Rotary Dryer - Mass Balance
This Spreadsheet is used to calculate mass balance of Rotary Dryer.

Rotary Dryer - Heat Balance
This spreadsheet is used to calculate heat balance of Rotary Dryer.

Rotary Dryer - Sizing
This spreadsheet is for sizing/designing Rotary Dryer.

Refrigeration Cycle (In Bahasa Indonesia)
This spreadsheet is for modeling/designing a refrigeration cycle.

Biomass Hydrolysis
This spreadsheet is used to calculate product composition from biomass hydrolysis (in this case represented by wood) with dilute sulfuric acid solution (0.05 - 10%w).

Biodiesel Kinetics
This online spreadsheet is used to study reaction kinetics of Biodiesel Production. The kinetic model used in this spreadsheet is Komer's Model (2002) which is extended by Timothy Lawrence (2005) to include the effect of temperature to the the rate constants.

Estimation/Default Emission Factors for Mining Activities
Mining operations can be considered as series of unit operations (eg dragline operations, shovel operations, truck haulage of materials, etc). This online spreadsheet provides emission factor estimations and default emission factors for emissions of both TSP and PM10 from general mining.

Equipment Screening Sound Pressure Level
This online spreadsheet can be used to predict sound power and/or pressure level (noise) from industrial equipments like fans, compressors, pumps, turbines, etc.

Vertical Vessel Sizing
This spreadsheet is for sizing vertical vessel.
