I know from engineering tables that at 10,000 psi and 200 deg.F for example, 1,985 SCF of Nitrogen occupies 5.6146 cu.ft of space (this assumes Z=1). Can someone please advise a formula to correct this volume, which includes the compressibility factor, Z.

Have you considered using equation of state for calculating volume?

In my opinion you can use Peng Robinson equation of state.

You can look at http://www.cheresour...h__1#entry42680 as a guide of compressibility factor estimate. Nitrogen critical conditions are needed in advance, which can be easily found.
Another example of a gas volume calculation based on compressibility factor is at http://www.cheresour...h__1#entry36507.
Hope above is helpful. It may be easier to use a simulator to calculate N2 volume, using e.g. Peng Robinson equation as suggested in the post by acer_asd.
