Hello, I am a student and I am designing a cooling tower for a design project. I've been doing some research but there are some questions I have.

1. Do I assume a L/G ratio or do I assume the temperature of the outlet air

2. How to calculate the NTU

3. how to know the fan speed

4. how to determine the number of cells.

5. do I assume an evaporative losses

I would be really grateful if you could help me with these questions.

If you try Google you will find a lot of information , google  "Cooling tower fundamentals Marley"

For the number of cells (fans)  you should refer to vendors' catalogues .

In the catalogue you will find the RT of the model ( cooling  capacity )

To support your query a few documents .
