Dear All,

I am having a Scew pump that has a specified fluid viscosity of 315-350 cst. This pump is redundant and I want it to use it for pumping refinery slop, which has a density range of 0.75-0.9 g/cc and viscosity range starting from around 3 cst. The datasheet and pump curves are attached for reference. I am apprehensive whether the pump would work in this service.

Please provide your suggessions

Thanks in advance.

There is no reason to believe that it won't work. You can always ask the manufacturer.
