at first - I am not a proffestional.

 

I  tried to model Stripping Column in Aspen Plus, but I have some problems (look at attached picture).

 

Questions:

 

1) Should for example stream HOT COND have preassure equal to preassure of column stage?

2) If i have data, such valve opening and stream flow (WATER, COND1 COND2 LP-STEAM and BFW, and then I use them to model my real stripping column, why it fails? I tried everything, add new stages, change algorithms but it fails. Could Aspen fit his column model to my data? how to do this? (column: no rebolier & condenser).

 

if somebody is interested, I can give him my model and some date to understand what I mean.
