Hello all,

I want to know the most accurate equation that can be used to estimated the temperature difference caused by rapid depressurization of water from for example 100psi_g to 2 psi_g . I am trying to model a liquid liquid ejector, and want to find out the difference in temperature that might be caused at different stages (nozzle, throat, discharge) of the ejector. I have been able to model the flows, velocities and pressures inside excel and want to include the thermal information in it as well. I also would like to thank breizh for recommending the book: Steam Ejectors for the process industries.

Some questions I have while using EOS are, is there any way to model a phase change after the depressurization, is it possible to predict ice formation using any analysis methods?

Thank You.

Thank You breizh, also can you provide me with any methods to find temperature of a liquid after its rapid depressurization inside the ejector nozzle?

Thanks.
