Hi,

I am used to handle engineering documents in the gas industry. But in a process flow diagram of a crude distillation column, I have seen mentioned on a tray two values of design pressure (Light crude, Heavy crude). Does the total pressure on this tray=Light crude pressure+Heavy crude pressure? And why we make a distinction, light crude-heavy crude?

Thanks.
