Normally hydrodesulphurisation feed cut in temperature(Naptha hydro treater,VGO HDS) is 290 Deg C.

Why??

Hydrotreator reactions in the reactors are Gas Phase reaction and at 550 F naphtha become in vapor phase.(System pressure is also considered).
