Hello,
I am using dowtherm within the tubes of a shell and tube heat exchanger. The other fluid which passes outside the tubes is saturated steam which condenses upon contact with the tubes. Would 0.5% carbon steel be suitable for this? Or would it be susceptible to erosion and/or corrosion?
P.S is stainless steel a better option?
Kind regards
J. Will
