Tutorial for use of VBA codes to export/import values from/to excel/hysys file:
Simulate a gas cooler in HysysTM using VBA codes. Gas cooler shell side fluid is a mix of Methane and Ethane of known mass fraction, temperature, pressure and mass flow rate. Outlet temperature and pressure are also known. Cooling water is provided as tube side fluid with known temperature and pressure. Also outlet water pressure is known.

The work is a good start! Don't stop here, though. Build the simulation from scratch with Excel VBA. But set your learning objectives so that you can accomplish the tasks. If you work hard, after a couple of years you can teach others. And then do the automation with Pro II.
