Friends, We have sealless centrifugal pump for benzene. Is there any standard for selecting sealless centrifugal pump. Especially for benzene as it is flammable and also has health hazards. (carcinogenic). Can anyone help me?

I will try to give you an overall idea to proceed, for your academic interest. However, for industrial use, i recommend you to approach vendors who are the experts in WHB design. First of all establish the enthalpy vs. temperature relationship of flue gas. This is done by using the enthalpy temp. data of individual components of flue gas. Naturally 3/4th of an inch is lower than 1 inch and so is 1/2 inch .thus 1 inch dia pipe will cover the ones you have asked .I presume you are reducing the pipe dia.
