Could someone direct me to intense thermodynamic data on various mixtures of water and ammonia in the pressure range of 100 to 700 psia. For a high temp balanced refrigeration application. I need entropy, enthalpy, temperatures (dew point, bubble point, saturation), composition (%vapor, liquid) and if possible into the superheat range. Been looking all day at available software and found nothing yet. thanks for any help. Mark Smith

theoreal:

The title that you gave this thread is "Anhydrous ammonia Properties". Then, in the body of the post you use the term "various mixtures of water and ammonia".

Just precisely what is it that you need? Do you need thermodynamic data for:

  • Anhydrous Ammonia? or,
  • Aqua Ammonia?
Anhydrous ammonia is no sweat. Aqua ammonia is a different story.

Please be concise and specific in your request.

Assumingly you ask for anhydrous ammonia properties for refrigeration (but please clarify). You can find them in Perry, "Chemical Engineers' handbook" , Thermodynamic Properties. In the 7th edition see Table 2-232 (Saturated ammonia), and Fig 2-6 (Enthalpy-pressure diagram for ammonia). Data is in "narrow" space and not easily legible.
