Hello

Is there any criteria of minimum "FLOODING FACTOR"? Minimum FLOODING FACTOR of my tower was 54%. It's rather low, isn't it?

Hi,

Often a value of 80 to 85 per cent is used.

Literature: Buford D. Smith. Design of equilibrium stage processes. McGRAW-HILL Newyork. Chapter 15: Tray Hydraulics/perforated Trays

best regards
