Dear All,
I want to simulate a liquid-liquid extraction column using Aspen Plus software. In this column the aromatic components available in a petroleum vacuum column product stream extracted by Furfural as extract stream.
I have the True Boiling Point (TBP) and gravity specifications for feed, raffinate and extract streams and I specified these components for Aspen as three assays but I couldn’t complete the Setup form of EXTRACT column because in the Setup Key Components Sheet there aren’t IDs of any assay type components.
Do you know how I can simulate this process? Would you please help me?!
