Hello,
I have been having some problem with convergence in Aspen. After initiating with equilibrium mode in a co2 MEA system, I then use then result for rate based mode. But at the end, I still find some co2 at the output stream whereas in the equilibrium mode, all the co2 were absorbed. Increasing the MEA flowrate did absorbed all the co2. But if I initialized the simulation, only the rate based simulation converges. The result are still good since the rate based was use to initialized with the equilibrium.
Do you thing there is a problem if only the rate based converges after reinitializing?
