Dear all,
when I want to simulate control valve, I found thier are requirement of "C1" or "Km" and I don't know the exactname. So I want to someone to let me know that How to find C1 and Km if we don't have actual datasheet in hand. I know that C1 and Km is depend on valve type, size and spacial figuration.

Best Regards,
Elvisnew

Elvis,

If you look at Aspen tutorials, the "Operations Guide" gives an explanation with respect to all terms used in the fluid flow equation. This section is attached below.

In addition to that, you can find quality information regarding control valve sizing procedures in the "Fisher Control Valve Handbook": http://www.documenta.../book/cvh99.pdf
